When Mervyn's began remodeling older stores, I created a series of marketing messages that played off the idea that the new stores would be sweeter than ever. The banner below announced the grand re-opening in which Mervyn's gave away 1 lbs. bags of Jelly Belly candy. A postcard was sent prior to the event giving credit card holders an additional incentive to shop.
